How do I upload files to web server?
There are various methods that you can use to upload your website files onto your
web space. You will need 3 pieces of information:
1. Your Hostname
2. Your FTP User name
3. Your FTP Password
Your FTP Hostname is your domain name. For example, if your domain name is
http://www.dhyeya.in, your FTP Hostname will be dhyeya.in
Your FTP User name and FTP password will be in your mail box sent by Dhyeya support team. You can also get this by login in to your hosting control panel.
Install any freely available ftp tool such as fireftp, WISE-FTP, WS-FTP, Cute-FTP, etc to upload the files.
After installing create a new account and enter enter the Host Name, FTP User name and FTP password, click connect or open. Open the folder “httpdocs” and upload your file in to this folder. You can overwrite the existing files.
